Wardrobe 2020 ~Part II~

It took me too long to finish this orz. Anyway, here's part II! If you haven't read part I yet, you can read it here

24. Michael's Blessing JSK

Same as the pink version, the blue one is gorgeous and elegant. I fell in love with Michael's Blessing JSK and I hope I can get it in more colorways soonish.

25. Margaretha JSK

The margaretha JSK is a beauty on its own. The lace that makes the crosses is delicate but strong, and the stripped ribbon and fabric make the design pop up more. The ribbon on the crosses is a wonderful champagne color and even has a tiny dot pattern.

As a nurse any release with a nurse background is a must have for me, and this one paired with the nurse headdress is just wonderful and to die for. I loved the sax color but missed the original release, then I saw btssb's designer Kano Masumi wearing the green color and appreciating the details in person made me love it even more! Luckily for me a friend linked me to someone selling theirs and voilà, I got mine.

You are probably not reading this but in case you do, thank you Michi!

26. Le petit chaperon rouge ~Maiden of the dark forest~ JSK II - ALICE AND THE PIRATES

A stunning deep red print of the little red ridding hood with a slightly darker twist. I have to say I loved the jsk with the brown bodice, but it looked hard to coord and sold immediately, so I went for this one. The print is gorgeous.

I remember someone got this same jsk and found out the part where the ends of the skirt fabric meet made it look like the wolf and the boy on the print where dating/together and I wish mine did that.
:joy:

27. Usakumya's stylish sweet time tiered JSK

Part of btssb’s memorial series, this dress features a print with lots of ribbons and usakumyas, some usakumyas are not wearing their usual bunny ear hoodies, which is a weird sight but I appreciate it

I love coordinating this piece with pink! As much as I love red x white coords, sometimes I can’t help but feel it looks too much like a flag, as both the japanese and peruvian flags consist of only white and red.

28. Jewel Tree Bouquet OP

A border print full of delicate flowers, pearls and ribbons. It has the shirring and corset lacing on the front instead of the back, and has a detachable ribbon on the waist.

The ad for this one on the glb had Midori in a casket full of flowers, a rather gothic concept for such a sweet print, but it made me like it even more! I’m hoping to get my hands on the ivory jsk sometime

29. Handmade JSK

My first handmade JSK! I tried to give it an old school feel, it has lots or ruffles that were a nightmare to make and lots of lace too, it is my own personal lace monster. I also added a pocket, because btssb dresses never  have pockets and pockets are live, I had to add them to my jsk.

I wore this to travel from Lima to Bogota, with a layover in Medellin. My flight from Lima was late and I had to go through the inmigration police and run from one end of the airport to the other while wearing this heavy dress, but the pocket was helpful and it was worth it!

30. My sweet mate Kumya's strawberry and lace millefeuille Judy JSK

A cute print with Kumya Judy, Sophie and Lillian playing with some cherries and strawberries, surrounded by lace. Both the bodice and hem have scallops ♡

Black pink (in your area) dresses are my favorite! Adding kumyas to the equation just makes it even better! I love the drawn lace on the print, it looks so cute ♡

31. Take a walk with usakumya-chan JSK

A simple design decorated with polka dotted ribbon and an usakumya applique.

I saw an usakumya and I couldn´t help miself, the possibility of coordating this with pink also made me go for it, plus, a ribbon made out of ribbons is just way too cute to resist ♡

32. Antoinette Bouquet JSK

Rows and rows of lace, huge grosgrain ribbons and a gobelin print.

I love the huge bows on the waist and the print is amazing, but this jsk is too damn short! I've worn it without an underskirt and I feel like I'm showing too much leg orz but I love it, so much.

33. Masquerade Theater JSK - ALICE AND THE PIRATES

Huge bow on the bodice and an amazing print on the skirt part. This jsk is stunning and the simple bodice works wonderfully with this incredible print inspired by the Phantom of the Opera.

One of my favorite musicals is the Phantom of the Opera, so this dress was the one for me. I love the details on the print like the chandelier, tha phantom's mask, the letters, the music sheets, everything is perfect about this and I love it!

34. Wonder Bunny's Magical cards Party JSK - ALICE AND THE PIRATES

An Alice in Wonderland inspired print. It has some characters of the book but protrayed as bunnies! With red eyes, for extra devilish touch, thanks to aatp.

I also got this one on a lucky pack, I have to admit it is not something I would have bought myself but it has eventually grown on me ♡

35. Alice and the looking glass of time OP

Another Alice in Wonderland piece. Doing this, I've noticed that I own quite a few. This one has a velvet like texture on the print, with glitter! It has mirrors, clocks, and Alice herself!

This was an impulse buy because I found it on auctions for very cheap and decided to give it a go. So far I 've only worn it once but it has become a favorite already! It is easy to coord, cute and elegant ♡

36. Logo border JSK

A bold print with bold colors. The brand name in huge capital letters for a print and a cute delicate tulle detail on the hem.

This dress was called 'the brandwhore dress' back in the old days, I got it for very cheap when the angelic pretty super ott sweet became popular, so this one is quite old and has seen better days, but I like as it one of my very few non shirred jsks.

37. Princess honey's tea salon SK

Sweet sweet print with a huge bow on the front of the waist a the cutest bustle back that I forgot to take a pic of.

I love bustles! They instantly make me feel like a princess. The pale pink is also a wonderful shade in real life, but really hard to capture on camera, the colors on this print are a lot more lively than what they look like on pics.

38. Early summer strawberry and chocolate parfait SK

Classic baby print with an unnecesary long name, as usual. This print is super well known and is re-released every once in a while. The parfaits look delicious and the gingham border in fucsia is a nice touch ♡

As a fun story, I almost detroyed this skirt trying to wash it once. The red bled HORRIBLY, and after a good moment of crying thinking there was no way on saving this skirt, I resolved to try to salvage it however I could. Long story short, I could save it and now I'm not afraid of washing anything.

39. Sweet Fruit á la mode macaron SK

This skirt might be my first brand main piece (I’m almost sure). I remember when I first got it I was ecstatic, I loved everything about it! The print, the ruffles, the bows, the lace, everything was perfect! Now I can’t say I’m that passionate about if, as I’ve discovered long ago that skirts are not my thing, but I still feel a warm feeling when I see it

40. Unknown SK - BODYLINE

A beautiful skirt with a delicate print and a scalloped hem with ribbons.

This skirt was a gift from my mom when I turned 15, so this pieca has been in my wardrobe for a huuuge while. I think out of all the bodyline stuff I've seen this is the best. The fabric is thick, the print is elegant and the scalloped hem is the cutest! I haven't worn it in a huge while but I plan to do it as soon as the fall comes or the temperature lowers.

41. Parfait print SK - Emily Temple Cute

Parfaits, donuts, ice cream and everything sweet! This print is bold and full of different colors, though the heart on the ice cream looks green on the picture, it looks more blue in real life, sadly, my phone camera couldn't capture the color right on this one.

Is this actually lolita? I’m leaning a lot to no, it’s too short, and it can hardly accommodate a petticoat, but it was very popular print among lolitas a good 10 years ago or so, so I’m including it in this post, I’m sorry! This print is too cute and too sweet for its own sake, I wish the OP was more lolita, but it is classical ETC style.

42. Sonnet for Juliet ~Love potion with romantic irony~ SK

Giant frames with scenes from Romeo and Juliet and cherubs are the main focus on this print. The main color is a romantic dusty pink and the hem has a delicate tulle with flowers.

I want to have more mature pieces in my wardrobe, so when someone in my country put this skirt up for sale I snagged it! I only have one way on coordinating it so far but I like how it looks, the scallops on the waist band are a sweet touch I appreciate

43. Elizabeth Bride of the Death three tiered SK

Hard to notice on the pic but this skirt has three tiers, with a border print with a filigree like detail. The print has red, green and lilac, a VERY weird color combination, but it works fine in the end.

I got this skirt in a lucky pack and had a hard time trying to know where it came from, I knew the fabric looked a lot like the Elizabeth bride of the dead print but as it didn’t had the cameos nor other details of the print I wasn’t sure, luckily I could ask a shop assistant and she let me know it was indeed, part of the Elizabeth series.

44. Queen of snow and the magic of whiteness SK - ALICE AND THE PIRATES

My only highwaisted skirt, with corset boning and shirring with corset lacing on the back. The buttons on the front are pearly and fit perfectly with this snowy print.

I love Frozen and my favorite character is, without a doubt, Elsa. So a print inspired by the same fairytale Frozen was basen on was a natural choice for me, I find blue rather hard to coord but choosing a different colorway is just not possible, since this one portrays the spirit of the story so well!

45. Magical cosmetics - BODYLINE

Full of rows of marguerites and pearls, and with a border print of parfume bottles, this skirt was a very known bodyline print. It is cute but the print is a little busy.

I got this one about eleven or twelve years ago, and I don't wear it that much because I find it hard to coordinate, so this one is probably getting sold some time soon, most probably to someone with better coording skills than mine.

46. Unknown - Mezzo Piano

A musical pattern in pink and silver over a black skirt with heart lace ♡

I think this brand is actually for kids, but this skirt fits a petticoat and works wonderful for more simple toned down coords! So it is my go to casual lolita main piece.

47. Lady Rose SK - ANGELIC PRETTY

With a small built in petticoat and pockets! This is a very easy to wear and practical skirt. The back has a gorgeous bustle and the scallops are so lovely. I love scalloped hems, so much.

Well I said it, POCKETS, as a mostly btssb lolita, pockets are something I hardly ever see, why is it so hard to make pockets, baby? Why? I need more pockets in my life.

♡♡♡

Once again, thank you for reading this ridiculously long post, and I'm sorry it took me so long to post part II.
I hope you are having a wonderful day!

Love, Hiromi ♡

Wardrobe 2020 ~Part I~

Hello everyone! This is my first entry  and I'm very excited to talk about this, I've been into the fashion for many years but always thought my wardrobe was either too small or too boring to bother making a post for it, well not anymore! I'll have to say most of my pieces are from BABY, the stars shine bright, if no brand is described, it is from them. So let's start! <3

♡♡♡

1. Kumya Princess JSK

This dress was a special release by btssb and features amazing custom lace with a kumya pattern as well as a brocade fabric and lots of ribbons ♡

Custom lace is not that common in BABY's releases, so I fell in love with this jumperskirt as soon as I saw it, I loved the ribbons, the kumya lace and the brocade in the fabric, because of the price I was sure this dress was unattainable but my boyfriend made a huge effort and gave it to me as a present ♡. I have only worn it once, but I'm already looking for wearing it again.

2. My Favorite Ribbon

A beatiful design collab between Aoki Misako and btssb's designer Uehara Kumiko. The fabric has a gorgeous ribbon pattern, and has detachable accessories with stars and a rhinestone.

I got this dress a few months before going to a convention Misako was going to, for those who know me, they know I really admire her because of her work as a lolita model and a nurse, since I'm a nurse myself. I had the hope to receive the dress in time to the convention but it took a lot longer to come home and I ultimately resigned on showing Misako that I appreciate her by wearing My Favorite Ribbon to her tea party. Fast forward a few years, I got to show her my dress last year at a tea party in Colombia ♡

3. Thumbelina ~Maia's Wonderful Encounter Story~ JSK I

A front bustle and a cute border print, featuring the tale of Thumbelina in an array of pinks with some lavender and yellow accents. Perfect for a spring coord.

I wore this dress to my first btssb tea party, and I won best dresser with it, so this one has a special place in my heart ♡. I'm trying to go for a more adult like look, so I still need to figure how to coord this dress in a way I feel more comfortable with or sell it to a new loving owner, but selling stuff is so hard to me.

4. Michael's Blessing JSK

An intricate design with lots of details. The lace is delicate and beautiful, and the double corset lacing on the front make this jumper skirt the perfect one for more over the top coords. The detachable chain and buttons on the bodice just make it an even more gorgeous piece.

I have worn this just a couple times, but the times I've worn it it made me feel like a fairytale princess, the ribbons make for very elegant coordinates with a flowy feel and I love that!

5. Sugar Bouquet OP

A BTSSB classic! The print is kind of busy but balanced and very very cute. It features flowers, strawberries and the btssb logo and it's the most wonderful print in the world.

I got this last year and I love it! The fabric is quite thick and has a very good feel, the lace is beautiful and the print is so detailed and cute. If I could I would have this print everywhere, as a big fan of baby, this one print is ♡THE ONE♡ that must be worshipped.

6. Halloween Alice JSK

Another btssb classic print. This time with a halloween theme. The print has little children already wearing their costumes and going trick or treating for halloween. The lace is thick and gorgeous and the hot pink ribbon makes a beautiful accent detail.

This is the first brand jsk I got, a girl from my country contacted me out of nowhere and offered to sell it to me, I didn't think it twice and bought in a heart beat! I still kind it is quite hard to wear it all year round because of the very specific theme it has, but it is so cute I can't part ways with it.

7. Florence's Medicine Chest Louisa JSK

A very nurse-like piece. The print has bottles containing herbs and Florence Nightingale (or I think it is her). The color is a deep pink that's not that common in lolita with brown accents.

I modeled this dress at a btssb fashion show in Chile. I loved every second of the experience and both the designer and shop attendant were sweet and supportive! As I have hip dysplasia, my walking is quite weird and taking part of fashion shows make me afraid because I think people will laugh at me, so having the courage to go out and walk that runway did a lot for my self-steem, and making friends throughout the process just made it unforgettable♡.

8. Little Rabbit Sparkly Droplet Rendezvous JSK

I got this dress in a lucky pack, the print is a little busy but quite nonetheless. It has a decorative corset lacing on the front, a scalloped detail on the bodice and full back shirring. I have worn this one for my first time doing an actual twinning coord with a friend!

9. Nounours apron OP

The prettiest OP, the apron is attached to the dress with bear shaped buttons and the front ribbon has the btssb logo and name on it. The scalloped neck makes for a sweet sweet look.

This OP I got at a convention baby went to, I saw it and I knew I had to have it. It is very comfy and I love every single detail of it.

10. Fondant Chocolate Nounours Ribbon JSK

Same collection as the previous OP, it has teddy bears and chocolate everywhere. Pink x brown is a very cute color combo and this dress makes it look even cuter!

I modeled this dress for btssb at a con too and luckily the designers let the models buy the dresses modeled at a discounted price! So I took the offer and now this baby is mine

11. Shirring JSK

I bought this one thinking it was the shirring princes jsk, it got home and shoot, it wasn't, but it was very cheap and though the desing is simple, it is very cute and very easy to coord so I'm not complaining! I usually pair this one with a head eating bow and simple blouse for an old school feeling ♡

12. Melody Doll Replica - BODYLINE

There's not much to say about the design of this jsk, it is a very simple replica of Angelic Pretty's Melody Doll, released some time in 2008, more or less.

I got this dress when I was about 15 years old and had saved a lot of money for it (for an adolescent living in latin america), and I was very excited about getting it! I can't help but laugh at myself now. Though I no longer want to buy replicas nor support them, this jsk I got when I was younger has a lot of emotional value to me and I can't let it go, so now I use it as a very casual dress.

13. Heart apron anniversary ver.

An old school staple piece with a twist, this apron is the classical btssb apron worn in the good old times but featuring a beautiful embroidery for btssb's 30th anniversary.

I started wearing a questionable form of lolita when old school was the norm and shitmotsuma was the epitome of the lolita lifestyle, so getting one of this was a must! Now my dream is to bake sometime sweet and cute while wearing full lolita, apron included.

14. Sweetheart sweet dot OP

Dots everywhere and a retro feel made me fall in love with this dress. The stripped belt and stripped ribbon make it even cuter!

I saw this OP in the navy colorway on baby's homepage and loved it. I was travelling to nyc and considered buying it in store or making sure I got it by buying it online, and decided to ask my dad for advice, wise man he is, he said I should wait a couple days and get it in person for an extra especial day. Well I got to the store and the fricking dress was sold out, I'm never listening to my dad's advide regarding lolita shopping ever again.

I got this one in lacemarket but I'm still hunting for the navy one that stole my heart.

15. Nurse OP - Handmade

A dress I made for Halloween. I love Metamorphose's Engelsbeginn OP, but since I didn't want to make an exact copy, I modified some things like the sleeves and the lenght of the dress. Making the pattern was hard since I had no real guide on how to draft it, but it works just fine when worn.

16. Claudia, the fairytale princess OP

This dress is simply stunning and no description will ever get to explain how beautiful it is in person. The lace is perfect and the creams, reds an blues match perfectly. The fabric of the dress has a very subtle lace-like pattern that's impossible to show in pictures, but amazing in real life!

I got this one as a birthday present from my dad, and when it arrived, it didn't fit me. The end.
Now really, I considered taking it to a seamstress but the possibility of it getting screwed made me not do it, so I wore in the most ridiculous ways, like tucking the bodice into the skirt part and wearing a blouse under the bustier, I think it kind of worked, kind of. Luckily I lost weight and now I can wear it normally, but I cried a lot when I got it and couldn't fit in it. Please always read the measurements before buying.

17. Kumya's cherry strawberry JSK

A jsk with a very light weight fabric, perfect for summer! The cute print with both usakumya and kumakumya match perfectly with the custom lace ♡ The blue and red accents make the dress have a fun spirit!

It was a long while since the last time I bought a full set, but this release was waay to cute to pass on that. I love kumyas, in every way, shape or form, and this print was just perfect for me! My favorite color is blue and I almost have no dresses in that color, but I love that at least this one has very prominent blue details ♡ Some cherries are shaped like hearts too, isn't that lovely?

18. Salon de thé minette JSK

The fabric on this dress has a shimmery look and a beautiful tulle like detail on the hem. The print has macarons and sweets and everything needed for the perfect tea party ♡

This dress was a prize from a btssb tea party! I love it and I treasure this like the trophy it is. As a huge btssb fan, being acknowledged by one the designers was a dream come true ♡

19. Wonder Story comes in the Rose blooming night Violetta JSK

Playing cards and roses for the cutest Alice in Wonderland themed print ♡ As you can see, the roses are white but some have been painted over, just like in the book! But this time, they are pink instead of red.

I love this cute rendition of the classic Alice in Wonderland lolita dress. As much as I like the classic red on the roses, this pink and sax color combo make it a lot sweeter!

20. Heart Marguerite JSK

This jsk feels like a picnic day out right? The ribbons everywhere, both in actual ribbon and in the print, make this dress the perfect sweet picnic attire!

This was the last thing I got to buy from New York's btssb/tokyo rebel store. I got it thinking it was a light blue color and it turned out being lavender, rip me and my negative skills to recognize colors. I have no lavender pieces to coord it with but I like it so I decided to keep it.

21.  Crystal Dream Mermaid - ANGELIC PRETTY (modified) OP - Angelic Pretty

This dress came to me in all sax color, but I bought it with the intention of modifying it into a dress that looked more like the one Ariel wears in the movie. I love disney world and disney bounding is always fun, so I did the new bodice and added some cms into it, got apart the pink front ribbon and made smalled bows for the sleeves. I had zero clue of what I was doing so it probably doesn't look the best, but it is wearable and got lots of compliments in the parks! It's a shame I didn't make it to dapper day, but at least I got to show Ariel herself my weird modded dress.

22. Sailor Moon gradation print JSK - SECRET HONEY

A simple but cute dress. The print is sailor moon themed and so is the beautiful embroidery on the bodice. The pleated skirt makes it look elegant yet cute.

Sailor Moon was my favorite cartoon when I was a kid, so when a friend had this up for sale I snagged it! When wearing it I always feel like a pretty lady ♡

23. Fairy topialium ~Promise in the forest of Trifolium~ Pratense JSK

The fabric of this jsk has a glittery finish that is hard to capture on picture, but it adds to its whimsical feeling. The print has a big castle with fairies, flowers and of course, the cutest topiaries in the whole world.

I wore this dress to embark on a 12 hour flight (layovers included) to the Magic Kingdom, because I hate myself. It was fun that everyone in the airports knew where I was heading to, some of the workers even asked me about it and joked with me because of it. When I got to MK some cast members even complimented my dress, it was a wonderful day even if I ended dead tired after it.

♡♡♡

So this was part I of my wardrobe post! Thank you for reading all of my unnecessary ramblings ♡
Every comment or share is very very appreciated ♡♡♡
